2011 Community Grants
Support for our Community
The Board of Directors of your community foundation is pleased to announce the following community grants.
- Canadian Diabetes Association – Sarnia Lambton $2500.00 For educational programmes on diabetes in Lambton County Schools
- Gallery in the Grove $2000.00 For expansion of the Gallery’s Visiting Artists in Local Schools (VALS) programme
- Neighbour Link $5000.00 For cribs and mattresses for low income families and families in transition
- Pathways Health Centre for Children $5000.00 For the creation of a fully accessible computer station at the centre
- St Clair Child and Youth Services $3000.00 For transportation of mental health clients attending programmes
- St Joseph Hospice – Caring Hearts Programme $2000.00 Year 4 of a 5 year commitment to provide bereavement programmes for children
- YMCA Sarnia Lambton $ 3500.00 Programme subsidy for Youth Recreation and Sports Programme
Donors who have created advised or designated funds with the Foundation direct the income from their funds to local charities once per calendar year. To date fund holders have directed grants to :

- Huron House Boys Home
- John Howard Society
- Lambton Christian School Society
- International Symphony Orchestra
- Gallery Lambton
- Pathways Centre for Children
- Gallery in the Grove
- Harmony for Youth
- Sarnia and District Humane Society
- Big Sisters of Sarnia Lambton
